Come on. The plurals and singulars are implied. I don't want one grape, and I don't want 45 bananas.
This fella here has been following my grammar around the internets, and I think it's great. So let's have a big welcome for Yaacob, here. Welcome to America, and to the real series of tubes.

Who the hell would be satisfied with one grape? I mean, I can eat just one potato chip, but unless it was poisonous, I could never have one grape.

Okay, but you could be satisfied with just one apple, yet you put that as a plural too.
