  • The Surgeon General's suggestion that if you quit smoking, it "Now Greatly Reduces Risks to Your Health." I guess if you tried to quit five years ago, the benefit would have been much less. But quitting now seems to be a better idea.

    And just for curiousity, why is every word in the Surgeon General's warning capitalized? I think he needs a consult from the Grammarian General.

  • I too strongly oppose of the use of all-caps. Reading sentences in all-caps now greatly reduces the speed at which a person can read. In addition, it may complicate pregnancy or result in fetal injury, premature birth, and low birth weight.
