The Nationals Appreciate You(r Money)
On Sep. 23, the Nationals will play their last home game of what promises to be a miserable season. ("We promise that we don't give a damn about this year's team!")
For many teams, the final home games is typically Fan Appreciation Day, whatever that means. The Nationals have made this date into a so-called "Premium Game," meaning most tickets cost about 25 percent more.
Thanks, jerks!
Correction: dl004d has pointed out that this is the last game ever at RFK. (This, generously, assumes that the new taxpayer-funded ballpark will be created on time.) So I take it all back. Except that the Nats are still jerks.
